
Electrical Construction and Maintenance 1 ELCL 9104
Our Electrical Construction and Maintenance 1 course teaches you about basic electricity, Ohm’s law, basic electric circuits, wire sizes, electrical safety, and solving calculations using electric circuit theory. Learn about series, parallel, and combination circuits; two-wire and three-wire distribution systems; line loss; power efficiency; wire size calculations; batteries; magnetism; electromagnetism; induction; and Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC) regulations.
Prerequisites
You must have completed Grade 10 math. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
