Welding 2 WELD 9039

Our Welding 2 course uses the CWB Group's Learning Resources framework to provide a combination of theoretical and practical learning opportunities that build on the welding skills you learned in our Welding 1 course. Expand your basic shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) and basic gas metal arc welding (GMAW) knowledge to include the construction and operation of welding and auxiliary equipment. Also expand your understanding of welding health and safety, and explore basic joint design, oxy-fuel cutting and welding, and applied trade mathematics.

You must have completed our WELD 9038 Welding 1 course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)

You will receive access to the CWB Group's Learning Resources content, quizzes, and resources. The CWB virtual textbook that you received as part of WELD 9038 Welding 1 can also be used for this course. You must have and wear your own CSA-approved safety footwear and protective eyewear while in shop areas.
