Our Big Data Security course focuses on the implementation of effective data security in a big data environment. Study some of the security threats and challenges, including insufficient protection levels in distributed systems, security solutions that cannot meet the increasing demand of evolving data, ineffective security processes, a lack of constant validation of incoming data, increased data attack attempts, poor access controls, unclear data confidentiality definitions, and inadequate data access monitoring and tracking. Learn about analytics and the big data considerations regarding volume, velocity, variety, variability, and complexity.
