Our Business for Pharmacy Assistants course provides you with an opportunity to examine the field of pharmacy from a business perspective. The emphasis is placed on such topics as inventory management, methods of inventory control, purchasing decisions, sources of supply, space management, personnel management, and pricing practices. Learn how to use mathematical formulas and basic arithmetic to calculate profit margins, inventory turnover rates, and product markups.

Prerequisites

You must have completed our PHAR 9014 Pharmacy Foundations and Law course.

Recommendations

You will have the most success in this course if you already have a diploma/degree or other training in a health-related field.
