Our EasyPower Electrical System Modelling course teaches you how to build an electrical model of a substation using EasyPower analysis software. Explore the evolution of an electrical model and when to use a generic model. Learn how to perform field data acquisition, how to build and validate a real system model, and how to maintain the configuration management of the EasyPower model across the lifetime of the electrical system. Study harmonics, a transient large-motor start, and compensation using the proper filter. Practice applying what you learn by designing a substation using EasyPower, a large-motor starting system, and a large power electronic converter, then practice providing the solution to compensate for voltage fluctuation and harmonics in the electrical system.
