Our Garden Design 2 course explores the design principles of balance, rhythm, proportion, and unity. Study such styles as woodland, water, cottage, meadow, ornamental grass, Japanese, and xeriscape, and learn about their soil, water, drainage, plant selection, and maintenance requirements. Explore hard landscaping, basic plan reading, and graphic skills while completing one garden design plan. Take a tour of specialty nurseries that grow and sell the plants featured in the course.
