Our Gas Technician 2 course is currently being offered in four parts: this course (Gas Technician 2A Theory), our HVAC 9068 Gas Technician 2A Practical course, our HVAC 9069 Gas Technician 2B Theory course, and our HVAC 9070 Gas Technician 2B Practical course. You must complete all four parts at George Brown College to qualify to write the EX 02 TSSA Gas Technician 2 Exam.

Our Gas Technician 2A Theory course complies with the theoretical education portion of the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) training curriculum for the Gas Technician 2 (G.2) certification and includes modules 10 through 17. Together, this course and our HVAC 9069 Gas Technician 2B Theory course cover the theoretical education required for G.2 certification.

Prerequisites

You must have completed both our HVAC 9065 Gas Technician 3 Theory course and our HVAC 9066 Gas Technician 3 Practical course or you must have a Gas Technician 3 (G.3) license.

Attendance Requirements:

You must attend a minimum of 80% of the scheduled classes to qualify for the EX 02 TSSA Gas Technician 2 Exam.

Grade Requirements:

You must achieve a grade average of 75% or higher in this course and in each associated course – HVAC 9068 Gas Technician 2A Practical, HVAC 9069 Gas Technician 2B Theory, and HVAC 9070 Gas Technician 2B Practical – to qualify for the EX 02 TSSA Gas Technician 2 Exam.
