Our Gas Technician 2 course is currently being offered in four parts: HVAC 9067 Gas Technician 2A Theory, HVAC 9068 Gas Technician 2A Practical, this course (Gas Technician 2B Theory), and HVAC 9070 Gas Technician 2B Practical. You must complete all four parts at George Brown College to qualify to write the EX 02 TSSA Gas Technician 2 Exam.

Our Gas Technician 2B Theory course complies with the theoretical education portion of the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) training curriculum for the Gas Technician 2 (G.2) certification and includes the final seven modules (18 through 24). Together, this course and HVAC 9067 Gas Technician 2A Theory cover the theoretical education required for G.2 certification. Examine water heaters, combo systems, portable water heating systems, forced warm air heating systems, base heating, decorative appliances, venting practices, forced air add-on devices, and air handling systems.

Prerequisites

You must have completed our HVAC 9067 Gas Technician 2A Theory course and have a G.3 license.

Attendance Requirements:

You must attend a minimum of 80% of the scheduled classes to qualify for the EX 02 TSSA Gas Technician 2 Exam.

Grade Requirements:

You must achieve a grade average of 75% or higher in this course and in each associated course – HVAC 9067 Gas Technician 2A Theory, HVAC 9068 Gas Technician 2A Practical, and HVAC 9070 Gas Technician 2B Practical – to qualify for the EX 02 TSSA Gas Technician 2 Exam.
