This course is designed for internationally educated nurses (IENs) completing the Nursing for IEN: Competency Upgrade Pathway.
OntarioLearn description: In this course, you will combine theoretical and experiential learning focused on the skills of socio-environmental, biopsychosocial, and physical health assessments with clients across the life span. This course includes theoretical and virtual lab components.
Prerequisites
You must be an IEN, be a resident of Ontario, and have a letter from the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) containing the results of your educational assessment and outlining the additional education you need in order to become registered in Ontario as a general class RN.

This is an OntarioLearn online course delivered via the OntarioLearn Portal. Teacher support will be available via email, and technical support will be available via phone.
Tuition Assistance:
This course can be free for qualifying students registered in a section that starts before Tuesday, April 1, 2025. You must be an IEN who meets the prerequisite requirements for this course.
