Our Information and Cyber Security Foundations course helps you get the fundamental knowledge you need to understand cyber security, information security, and risk management within an enterprise in any industry. Learn the basics of information security and cyber security, including the key concepts and applications of the confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA) triad. Develop a knowledge of the information security requirements of today’s business world by studying identity and access management, asset classification, security incident management, security operations management, and business continuity management. This information security course reflects the Core Body of Knowledge (CBK) and subject domains required in the professional exams (such as the CISSP, CISM, and CISA designations) and examines the knowledge framework through the lens of various industry standards and best practices (such as the ISO 27002, the NIST 800, and the CISSP CBK).
