Our Information and Cyber Security Risk Control course was developed because risk control is the key to implementing effective information and cyber security measures in any business enterprise. Focus on how to manage the various challenges that information security professionals face when deploying/operating the measures used to protect organizational infrastructure, critical systems, business applications, and information assets. Learn how to develop and implement an information security and risk management framework based on industry best practices such as the critical incident stress management (CISM) model. Study information security practices, policy development, compliance, risk assessments, risk management, and how to include privacy in the design of business applications. This security risk control course reflects the Core Body of Knowledge (CBK) and subject domains required in professional exams (such as the CISA, CRISC, and CIPP certifications) and provides the knowledge base for the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
