Makeup 3: Film and Television FASH 9230

Our Makeup 3: Film and Television course teaches you character analysis, aging techniques, and period and character makeup as well as casualty simulations. This intensive makeup course also explores industry terminology, call sheets, continuity, set kits, lighting, roles and relationships on set, professional protocol, the job market, unions, and trade tests. Classes occasionally feature industry guest speakers and representatives from makeup product lines who help you become more familiar with the makeup industry. Professionalism, etiquette, personal appearance, communication, and sanitation standards are integral parts of this course.

Course Essentials:

This course requires you to work on other students and to let other students work on you in order to gain the skills you need to work on models. You will also be required to bring your own model on occasion and for practical exams. This makeup artist course has a mandatory dress code and requires you to purchase our professional film and television makeup kit from the Makeup and Esthetics Student Store. The fee for the kit is in addition to the course fee.
