Our Skin, Wound, and Foot Care for Support Workers course combines online study with simulated practice to provide personal support workers, personal care assistants, and other caregivers with an opportunity to review existing knowledge and apply learning related to skin, simple wound, and foot care for clients in a community or long-term care setting. Practice the actions and skills required for the assessment of skin integrity and foot health as well as the prevention and management of common wounds and concerns. Learn how to maintain a client's plan of care in accordance with applicable legislation and employer policies and requirements.
