Our Software and Scheduling for Medical Unit Clerks introduces you to the software that is key for clerks within a healthcare setting and helps you gain confidence in navigating it. Through simulated platforms, become familiar with the different electronic programs required on a healthcare unit, including those related to bed transportation, order entry, payroll, scheduling, and admission/registration of patients. Learn to use online booking resources such as the Provincial Transfer Authorization Centre (PTAC) online portal, private ambulance booking systems, patient registration systems, lab requisition systems, chart access systems (including MyChart), bed management systems, SAP ordering (medical supply vendors), the Critical Care Information System (CCIS), and the MetaVision ICU clinical information system.
