Sommelier Management HOST 9116

Our Sommelier Management course recognizes that a successful sommelier must have excellent product knowledge in order to be able to identify which products are best suited to the style of a restaurant and its clientele. Become skilled at sourcing, wine-list development, sales and marketing, cellar management, and inventory. Learn how to develop a professional manner for dealing with staff, explore the current human resource practices and training that are used to create a top-notch workforce and operate a successful wine program, and study the law in Ontario. This module concludes with a final service exam, a project, and a compulsory stage experience.
