TSSA Gas Technician 3 Exam: Challenge EX 9000
Our TSSA Gas Technician 3 Exam: Challenge exam is the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) challenge exam for the theoretical/written portion of the Gas Technician 3 certification. This exam is intended both for those who have not completed prior gas technician training with George Brown College and for George Brown College distance education students who have passed our HVAC 9043 (Gas Technician 3 Theory Challenge Exam Preparation) course.

Effective September 1, 2024, you must have a TSSA customer account to write this exam. If you do not currently have one, you must create a customer account through the TSSA Client Portal. If you have an existing customer account, you must ensure that your account is linked to the TSSA Client Portal. If you have not done so already, ensure you submit your account number to cetech_tssa@georgebrown.ca.

Exam Policies:
If you need to withdraw or transfer to another section, you must do so a minimum of 15 business days prior to the original exam date or you will forfeit the exam fee. At the exam, you must present a valid government-issued photo identification and a receipt of payment. Only the CSA Group hard-copy code book will be allowed in the exam room. There are no refunds for unwritten exams.
