Waxing, IPL, and Laser Hair Removal FASH 9228

Hybrid

Our Waxing, IPL, and Laser Hair Removal course teaches you waxing, intense pulsed light (IPL), and laser hair-removal techniques for both the face and the body through a combination of theory and hands-on practice. Examine hair histology, client screening, and laser/IPL principles, and acquire the skills used to determine a client's needs and recommend post-care treatments. Also learn how to perform eyebrow and eyelash tinting services. Gain an understanding of the importance of proper hygiene and sanitation in relation to both your work areas and your equipment. Practice what you learn by performing services – on classmates, models, and clients – in the classroom and in the school spa. Public health standards, personal appearance, professionalism, etiquette, and communication are integral parts of this course.
