Our Complex Buildings 2012 course is an overview/refresher course for experienced practitioners. This building code course helps you review and become more familiar with the parts of the Ontario Building Code (OBC) dealing with complex buildings. The curriculum is based on Complex Buildings Syllabus (2012) and focuses on Division B Parts 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, and 12 of the OBC as well as Supplementary Standards SB-1, SB-2, SB-4, SB-8, SB-10, and SB-13.

Prerequisites

You must have a general understanding of the building construction process and basic blueprint reading skills.

Note(s)

This course can help you prepare to write the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH) Complex Buildings 2012 exam (not included). The MMAH exam is administered by Humber College. For more information, visit the Ontario Building Code Examinations website.
