Fermenting and Preserving HOSF 9400

Our Fermenting and Preserving course teaches you the art of fermentation and more advanced preserving techniques so that you can enjoy seasonal produce all year long. Learn to make your own fermented pickles, kombucha, fermented soda, kimchi, sauerkraut, grapefruit soda, ginger beer, aromatic bitters and more.

Prerequisites

You must have completed our HOSF 9088 Culinary Arts 1 course or our HOSF 9473 Culinary Arts 1 course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)

Course Essentials:

You must bring your full George Brown chef uniform, black safety shoes (non-slip and steel toe) and tools to the first class.
