Our Plumbing All Buildings 2012 course is an overview/refresher course for experienced practitioners. This building code course focuses on the plumbing principles and requirements found in Division B Part 7 of the Ontario Building Code (OBC). The curriculum helps you gain an understanding of the OBC requirements applicable to plumbing systems.

Note(s)

This course can help you prepare to write the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH) Plumbing–All Buildings 2012 exam (not included). The MMAH exam is administered by Humber College. For more information, visit the Ontario Building Code Examinations website.

Prerequisites

You must have a general understanding of the building construction process and basic blueprint reading skills.

Recommendations

You will have the most success in this course if you already have experience as a plumber or building inspector and you have already completed our BLDG 9234 Plumbing House 2012: Virtual Classroom course or our BLDG 9268 Plumbing House 2012: Independent Study course or our BLDG 9242 Part 9 Buildings Fire Protection course.

Course Essentials:

You must have a copy of the 2012 Building Code Compendium before you begin this course. The compendium is available for purchase through the George Brown College bookstore, at our Building Code and Trade Manuals website, and at the Publications Ontario website.
